Research on the Council's web-site also by Tico Jnr. A somewhat digruntled - and obviously confused - Ti' serenades us with what appears to be a complaint to his local council. Hand written notes suggest the title of this song was actually Letter Of Complaint To The Council, but a small error in production means it'll forever be known as something slightly different. Tico goes on to explain 'This song really stems from when my bin wasn't collected a number of years ago - it was probably 15 - and I called the council and they said the bin wasn't out. I said it was, it was on the end of my driveway. After a bit of back-and-forth they admitted that they were indeed wrong, and they sent the 'men' out again. From then on I always peek through my curtains on collection day to ensure my bin is collected. However, what really is cheesing me off is how bins are left out of footpaths - as the listener to this ditty can probably tell!' While it is not clear if Tico plans to take any further action on this matter (for example, a dirty protest), this rampant romp surely proves the point that Tico is not happy with their service. |
