The First Time I Fell In Love

Download

The first time I fell in love, I fell for you
With your big bay window and charming garden too
You need a lot of attention, love and affection
And I have it by the bucketload for you

Oh, hot property I hope that you want me
Nobody makes me feel the way I feel about you now
What a beautiful structure, you know that I want you
You're so fucking special, I wish I was special to you

I had a survey done on you, they found a crack down at the front and the back
That don't mean jack because I need you I'll fill your every hole
Don't leave me here on the outside, I feel like I'm losing my life
I'm losing sight of the light that keeps my motor running on and on and on...

Player two has started a bidding war, I don't care 'cos you'll be done for, yeah
Let's be having you, you can't take what is rightfully mine
I need these village views, to live looking out on the mews
You can choose what you choose, you're bound to lose - you'll never cheese me off

So naughty, so naughty, so naughty, so naughty

Well, they say that you're only bricks and mortar and that maybe I oughta get over you and you
And you and you and you...

I've had a browse of the contract, it all seems plausible
Take my hand and shake that, this deal is possible
Don't be a bad man, you can be a good lad, yeah
And with bottoms up, we'll fill our cups and throw our keys into the fruitbowl

The first time I fell in love, I fell in love with you
The first time I fell in love, I fell right over for you

Let me open your door, throw my clothes down on the floor
Because I don't need 'em anymore - no, no, no!

The first time I fell in love, I fell in love with you
The first time I fell in love, I fell in love with you

Oh, so dreamy, must be sleeping, night is frightening, don't like lightening
Just developed a stutter, butter, bitter, butter, batter

Release notes:

All words & music by Tico Jnr.

Originally written for a Homes Under The Hammer concept album, this ditty has been re-re-re-imagined over-and-over for this super album, as there was no nibbles on the idea of the concept. Oh, well. Their loss.

Tico Jnr. tactfully explains 'I have many songs for the concept album either written or tidily organised in my head. A song for every occasion in the viewing, bidding, buying, renovating, valueing, renting and selling process. The album hasn't been completely binned. I may well do my own television programme to make use accordingly'.

This song features many riffs, licks and whatever. It is rather good, and may well be released as a single in the future, if only to cheese off people as it's tastefully long.
